How do I migrate i386 (32-bit) SBAdmin software to x86_64 (64-bit)?

ANSWER

By default, existing x86_64 systems which are running SBAdmin using the i386 compatibility interface will continue to do so.

On a native x86_64 system, you may switch from i386 to x86_64 versions of SBAdmin, or vice versa, at any time, by changing the /opt/storix/instconfig/install_arch file on the client to the desired value and then running the appropriate version of the SBAdmin installer (stinstall).
